Here are some pictures of the works of Rona Ladman, an interior design firm based in New York. This interior design firm can be very versatile; they can create homey rooms with simple but attractive furniture and decorations, as well as edgy and glamorous rooms with bold design choices. These six living rooms will give you a good idea of how good they are in designing awesome interiors.
The first living room looks warm and homey with white and light brown color scheme. The all-around tall glass windows, draped with see-through white curtains, give a subtle view of the impressive city skyline outside. There are several interesting items in this room. A rope ladder hangs from the ceiling at one corner of the room, making a unique decoration even though it is not functional. Next to the ladder is a metal folding chair that looks quite rustic, in contrast with the other furniture in the room, which looks elegant. There is also a little stool shaped like a log, and candelabra that stand on a transparent table, looking as if it is floating in the air.
The second and third living room look very modern and rather austere compared to the first living room. The second living room has black and white as its dominant colors, with a huge black-and-white photograph of people in a formal party hanging on the wall behind the white L-shaped sofa. There are two black statues of guarding dogs in front of the tall windows, and two huge black flower vases with white flowers inside them standing at the corners of the room. The second room looks softer with grey as its dominant color. A bookshelf stands by the wall and hosts many interesting statuettes or other decorations. A black and white photograph leans to the wall above the bookshelf, and there’s a vase of red flowers on the round wooden table.
The fourth living room, I think, is the most edgy and glamorous of them all. There is a classic crystal chandelier, but the best thing in this room—which is also the first thing that makes it look edgy and glamorous—is the crystal lamp attached on one of the walls. This crystal lamp has a shape that reminds us of a giant lotus flower, and the contrast between its black background wall and its warm glow makes this stunning piece of decoration stands out even more.To add the room’s glamor, there are some shiny items in this room, such as the brass partition, the three little coffee tables with brass legs, and a table lamp with a bulging neck that looks rather like diamond or crystal ball.
The fifth living room bears some resemblances with the third living room: its dominant color is grey, it looks modern and more simply designed than the other rooms. A patterned dark yellow curtain covers the windows. The fireplace looks like a simple white square frame, and in front of it is a round coffee table with interesting metal legs.
The last living room feels quite like the first one in that it gives out a homey aura. The stone-and-wood fireplace and the wooden ceiling make the room looks natural. It is also elegant, thanks to the warm brown dominant color and the classic furniture. The curtain is quite colorful with bands of brown, bright red, and bright blue colors on it. I think this last living room, along with the other five living rooms, shows enough of the firm’s capability of making various unique interiors with strong characteristics in each of them.
